Mizoram University Aizawl 2016
Mizoram University is a thriving academic community with its lush green scenic hills, located at Tanhril in the western outskirts of Aizwal city. The university was awarded a “Grade A” by the Mizoram State Pollution Control Board. It is an eco- friendly university and is one of the first universities in the country to run effectively on solar power system. The university provides facilities for disabled and visually challenged students and staff. There are 27 affiliated colleges and one constituent college Pachunga University College, under Mizoram University. The university has implemented the required academic examination and administrative reforms mandated by UGC in 2009. All PG and UG Programmes inside the Campus are in CBCS mode.

Admission Process Prescribed application forms with prospectus will be available in the Office of the Controller of Examinations at Tanhril – 796009, Mizoram during office hours on payment of Rs. 100/- for SC/ST and Rs. 200/- for others in cash or through SBI Demand Draft in favour of Mizoram University. Application Forms/Prospectus can also be obtained through post by remitting Rs. 30/- extra as postal charges. Form downloaded from University website should be submitted with required fees. However, for MBA and B. Tech Courses, the fee for Admission Form is Rs. 700/- (Rs. 350/- for SC/ST Candidates).

Eligibility for MZUEEE 2016: A candidate who has passed the higher secondary or 10+2 (Class XII) examination or its equivalent from any recognized board. Student having secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics shall be eligible for admission in B.Tech. However relaxation in marks obtained in senior secondary examination is also provided to the candidates belonging to the category of SC/ST and PWD. Those appearing in the higher secondary or 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in 2016 may also appear in MZUEEE-2015 provisionally Age Limit: Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01st October, 1989 are eligible However, in the case of SC/ST/PWD candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, SC/ST/PWD candidates who were born on or after 01st October, 1984 are eligible Date of birth as recorded in the secondary education board/university certificate only will be taken as authentic Syllabus: As per JEE (main)-2016 B.Tech (lateral entry) 3rd semester: Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering
Eligibility: 3 year diploma holder in engineering in relevant branch with a minimum of 60% marks may apply for lateral entry those appearing in the final examination in 2016 may also appear in MZUEEE 2016 provisionally
Application Form: Prescribed application forms will be available in the office of the Controller of examination, Mizoram University during office hours on payment of Rs.700/- (Rs.350/- for SC/ST candidate) in cash or through demand draft in favour of Controller of Examination, Mizoram University Application forms can be obtained through post by remitting Rs.50/- extra as postal charges from Controller Office Form downloaded from university website should be submitted with required fees.
